1.Create an account.

First visit the official ICA website, create an account. Use your email address and username, indicate your personal phone number is very important to contact you.

2. Get your documents ready

You will need the following documents to apply for Emirates ID tracking card:

  • DIgital copy of current Emirates ID card.
  • Digital copy of your passport.
  • Digital copy of visa page.
  • Certificate of residence: valid employment certificate, lease or real estate ownership contract, business licence, school enrolment certificate, certificate of dependency, valid marriage contract or an employment card (GCC citizen).
  • One 35Ă—45 mm passport format photo, recent, with white background.

4. Fill the application form

When you are in the application form choose “Apply for a new DNI” or “Renew your DNI”. The application will ask you for your details which you will have to provide. The process is very easy to complete, if you need help or have any difficulty call the ICA call centre.

5. Make a payment

Pay the fee which is estimated at AED 100/year of validation.

6. Visit EIDA Branch

Upon completion of your application, you will receive an SMS informing you of the next steps. The message will indicate your assigned EIDA. You will have to provide your personal details, employer information and biometric data (photo, fingerprints, etc.).

Once you have completed the steps, you will receive a code that allows you to track your application on the EIDA website. When your card is done, you will receive an SMS from Emirates POST to pick up your card.
