Have you received a message that your Emirates ID Card printer is done? It is the moment in which you become a resident of the UAE without problems of being deported.
This is the news you wanted, and the waiting periods are over. What do you have to do now? In this article you will find the information you need to pick up your emirates id
How can I apply for an Emirates ID online?
One of the first requirements you need to have if you want to live or work in the UAE is an identification card, known as Emirates ID. This card is a compulsory identification document and you should have it in your wallet every day.
An Emirates ID card contains the holder’s photograph, 15-digit identity number and an electronic chip with your personal data in digital format. It is personal and unique, no one else can use your ID.
Your visa and your Emirates ID card have the same expiry date, when one expires the other expires as well. For this reason, you have a maximum of 30 days after expiry to renew your emirates ID.
Attention: Do not delay the renewal process, every day that passes has a penalty.
For the renewal process and for anything else you may need to know about your card, there are Happiness Centers located in all cities of the UAE.
Any of them can help you in any way you need.
